Community First Bank, and we are obligated to honor that relationship with great care, beginning with the information you have chosen to share with us. We believe that your privacy should not be compromised. At the same time, we want to offer you the array of financial products and services you need to accomplish your financial goals. At Community First Bank, we believe that the confidentiality and protection of customer information is one of our fundamental responsibilities. And while information is critical to providing quality service, we recognize that one of our most important assets is our customer’s trust. Thus, the safekeeping of customer information is a priority for Community First Bank.

We collect, retain, and use information about you only where we reasonably believe that it will help administer our business or provide products, service, and other opportunities to you. We collect and retain information about you only for specific business purposes. We use information to protect and administer your records, accounts, funds, and to identify you; to comply with certain laws and regulations; to help us design our improve our products and services; and to understand your financial needs so that we can provide you with quality products and superior service. Non public personal information about you is accumulated from a variety of sources:
- Directly by you (our customer) on applications or other forms
- Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others
- Information we receive from a third part, such as a consumer reporting agency
ACCURATE INFORMATION
We continually strive to maintain complete and accurate information about you and your accounts. Should you ever believe that our records contain inaccurate or incomplete information about you, please notify us. We will investigate your concerns and correct any inaccuracies.
LIMITATIONS ON ACCESS TO INFORMATION
At Community First Bank, employee access to personally identifiable customer information is limited to those with a business reason to know such information. Employees are educated on the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of customer information and on this Privacy Policy. Because of the importance of these issues, all Community First Bank employees are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of customer information and employees who violate this Privacy Policy will be subject to disciplinary measures.

Community First Bank is committed to the security of your financial and personal information. All of our operational and data processing systems are in a secure environment that protects your account information from being accessed by third parties. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information and we continually assess new technology for protecting information. Our employees are trained to understand and comply with this information policy.
INFORMATION WE DISCLOSE
We do not disclose any non-public personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. For example, we are permitted by law to disclose your account or other personally identifiable data to parties outside if:
- You request or authorize it.
- The information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you.
- The information is provided to a reputable credit bureau or similar information reporting agency.
- The disclosure is required to or allowed by law (e.g., subpoena, investigation of
fraudulent activity, request by regulator, etc.).
We do not provide account or personal information to non-Community First Bank companies for the purpose of independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing of any non-financial products or services of those companies.
Be assured that we will not provide any medical information that we may have obtained in insurance applications to any affiliate or to any associated without a need to know.
BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS WITH THIRD PARTIES
When the Bank conducts business with third parties, it requires its vendors and suppliers to maintain similar standard of conduct regarding the privacy of personally identifiable customer information provided to them. We are permitted by law to disclose nonpublic information to third parties for their own purposes. We share the information with companies that work for us. For example, we may share information with companies that print checks for us or provide data processing services.
PROVIDING PRIVACY INFORMATION TO CUSTOMERS AND RESPONDING TO INQUIRIES
Community First Bank recognizes and respects the privacy expectations of our customers. We want our customers to understand our commitment to privacy in our use of customer information. As a result of our commitment, we have developed this Privacy Policy which is made readily available to our customers.
